What This Tool Does

The Invoice PDF Generator creates professional invoices entirely in your browser. Fill in your company details, upload a logo, add client information and line items — the live canvas preview updates as you type. Choose from 6 paper sizes (A4, Letter, A5, Legal, B5, Half Letter), pick an accent color, and select your currency. Download a print-ready PDF or high-resolution PNG instantly.

No data leaves your device. All processing uses the HTML5 Canvas API and jsPDF locally. Eight currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, and BDT are supported.

How to Create Your Invoice

Set style. Upload your logo (or type a display name), pick paper size, accent color, and currency.

Enter your details. Fill in your company name, address, email, and phone in the From section.

Add client details. Fill in the Bill To section with your client's name, address, and contact information.

Set invoice metadata. Enter the invoice number, optional PO number, invoice date, and due date.

Add line items. Click Add Item for each service or product. Enter a description, quantity, and rate.

Set tax and discount. Enter discount and tax percentages — totals update live.

Download. Click Download PDF for a print-ready document or Download PNG for a high-resolution image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the tool send my data to a server?
No. All rendering happens on an HTML5 Canvas in your browser. jsPDF packages the result locally. Your data never leaves your device.
What paper sizes are supported?
A4 (210×297mm), US Letter (8.5×11in), A5 (148×210mm), Legal (8.5×14in), B5 (176×250mm), and Half Letter (5.5×8.5in). Select before downloading — the preview and PDF both update.
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Click Upload Logo in the Style section to add a PNG, JPG, or SVG. It appears in the invoice header alongside the INVOICE label, scaled to fit neatly.
How is tax calculated — before or after discount?
Discount is applied to the subtotal first, then tax is calculated on the discounted amount. Each figure is shown on its own labeled row.
Is there a limit on line items?
No limit. Items stack vertically — keep readability in mind if you add many rows.

Logic & Algorithm

The invoice template is an HTML/CSS layout rendered in a hidden div. Line item totals = quantity × unit price; tax = subtotal × rate; grand total = subtotal + tax. html2canvas converts the rendered HTML to a canvas image which is embedded into a jsPDF document scaled to A4 dimensions.
