🔗
True PDF Merge
Uses pdf-lib to copy page content directly — text stays selectable, fonts and vectors are preserved, links work. Unlike rasterization-based tools, quality is not degraded.
↕️
Drag to Reorder
Drag file cards up or down to set the page order before merging. On mobile, use the ▲ ▼ buttons. The numbered badge shows the final merge order.
🔒
100% Private
Your PDF files are processed entirely inside your browser and never leave your device. The tool works fully offline once the page has loaded.
No File Limit
Merge two files or two hundred. There is no built-in cap. The practical limit is your device's available RAM — most computers handle hundreds of pages without issue.
Add Files Anytime
Added the wrong files? Use "Add more PDFs" to include additional files at any time. Remove individual files with the × button without starting over.
🚫
No Watermarks
The merged PDF is completely clean — no watermarks, no branding, no additional metadata from this tool. Your document is your document.

How to Merge PDF Files

1
Choose your PDF files
Drop two or more PDFs onto the upload area or click Choose PDFs. You can select multiple files at once from the file picker. Each file is read locally — nothing is uploaded.
2
Set the merge order
Files appear in a numbered list. Drag a card to reposition it, or use the ▲ ▼ arrows on mobile. The numbered badge on each card shows the final output order. Use × to remove a file.
3
Click Merge PDFs
The tool processes each file in order, copying all pages into a single PDF document. A progress indicator shows which file is being processed.
4
Download your merged PDF
The result screen shows how many files were merged, the total page count, and the output file size. Click Download to save merged.pdf to your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. This tool uses pdf-lib to copy the original page content streams rather than converting pages to images. Text, fonts, vector graphics, and hyperlinks are preserved exactly as they were in the source files. The output is a true PDF — not a scanned image.

There is no hard limit in the tool itself. You can merge as many files as your browser's available memory supports. Most modern computers handle dozens of PDFs with hundreds of pages in seconds. Very large files may slow things down on lower-end devices.

No. All processing happens inside your browser using the pdf-lib JavaScript library. Your files never leave your device. The tool also works offline once the page has fully loaded.

No. Encrypted PDFs cannot be read by pdf-lib without the password. Use the PDF Password Remover tool first to strip the protection, then merge the unlocked files here.

pdf-lib's copyPages copies page content streams but does not merge AcroForm fields. If your PDFs contain fillable form fields, the visual appearance is preserved but interactivity may be lost in the merged document. For simple documents (reports, presentations, scanned pages) this is not an issue.
